CD Boot Disk and Flash Utility

    Hiya,

Just checking to see if I have the right method of creating a Boot CD in order to flash the BIOS...

This is how I propose to make a DOS Bootable CD with BIOS Flash Utility.
Following the instructions from this site, http://www.bay-wolf.com/bootcd-bios.htm
    1. Download the Boot.zip file, extract to folder.
    2. Download latest BIOS and Flash Utility, extract to folder
    3. Create ISO from the above files.
    4. Burn ISO to CD using CDBurnerXP
    5. Flash BIOS, Clear CMOS etc. etc.

    Sound good? Missed anything vital?

    EDIT:
    I used http://www.biosflash.de/e/bios-boot-cd.htm as a better reference.
Obviously still using CDBurnerXP instead of Nero, I burnt the image as a bootable image (DrDosMin PLUS all the BIOS/FLASH utility required).

Just a quick question, the image here http://www.cdburnerxp.se/help/Data/bootdisc of the bootable image option, I left the settings like this. Is this totally correct?

    Thanks in advance.

I've personally never used a CD to flash a BIOS... but it certainly looks/sounds to me like you've done everything right

But there's only one sure-fire way to see if you have, and that's to try it
No harm will come of doing so, because the BIOS itself remains unaffected, until such time as you start the flash
