    Yeah looks like it was a bad dl (having to use his damn t-mobile stick thing grgrgrg) But got it going again.

    that would be why, them things are notorious for dropping connections (dependant on location)... if your using one of those then it is a good idea to get hold of a download manager that allows pausing of the download if the connection is dropped

    but do you have sound now?

    another quick quesion sorry- When my dad deleted the sound files he did it from the add/remove bit. He deleting old work stuff and deleted the sound files at the same time. I'm just confused as to why the sound files ended up in the add/remove bit.

    because the realtek driver install installs a piece of software aswell that allows you to tweak things with an equalizer etc (it's called soundman, or something along those lines)
