    Cheapest way to wireless printing?

    As the thread title..

whats the cheapest way to get wireless printing?

i.e. an isolated USB printer just randomly plonked next to the router, so it would need a USB to ethernet cable converty thingy

basically so that a laptop can print from the garden etc without having another computer turned on consuming power...

whats the cheapest functional one around?

    Cheers

edit: after a convertor/adaptor/bridge not a new printer

There are a few people on eBay selling refurbished Netgear PS121 printer servers for around the 20 pounds mark. I got one for the same reason as you.

You need to get yourself a wireless printserver

    aye

but which one is nice and cheap but does the job.. and isn't on fleabay (if it was for me personally then i would use fleabay... but with someone else's money involved i'm not going there.....)

the cheapest possible is better... or does it work out cheaper to get a wireless/network printer?

The one linked above is pretty good and very quick to get setup... but not the cheapest out there... I'd also look at Edimax... (they cost around £35-40)
