    Another "Wot Laptop?" thread

    Hello all,

I'm getting a little fed up with sharing the PC with the wife, as I'm sure she is with me. We've mooted getting a laptop. It won't ever really be taken anywhere and will be used mostly as a "desktop replacement". It will mostly be used by M0nkeygirL for photo editing etc so resolution is important. I'll also be relegated to it occasionally so would ideally like it to have grunt enough to play a few games (nothing much more demanding than CIV IV or HL2). Lastly I'd like it well built, and not to feel like a complete brick. Given it won't be used that much I can't justify spending a great deal on it so am looking around £500 give or take £100.

With all these in mind I thought that this one from ebuyer looked OK - any thoughts?

Any help, experience, suggestions gratefully received.
    Thanks, M0nkey
