Dell XPS M1330 + 3 USB Mobile Broadband

Right basically ive got my XPS, and my 3 USB mobile broadband dongle.

My XPS has a slot for a sim card inside it, which I believe is there because when you first order the XPS you can have the option of having a contract with Vodafone for there mobile broadband service. So I presume that the Vodafone Broadband sim would just go in there.

Is there anyway I can put the Sim from my 3 Mobile broadband into this sim card slot in the Dell and get the mobile broadband working?

Yeah I had a quick play around BUT the laptop originally came with Vista, but that got nuked off it with my copy of Xp Pro put back on.

I have a feeling I need to find a device driver for it, but seeing as Dell seem to have pulled all its XP drivers off the site for the 1330, having a look round has got a bit harder!

download SIW and see who actually makes the device (assuming dell haven't made something themselves...)

and then get the drivers off the manufacturers webby

Ok doesnt seem to be listed.

Might try downloading the Vodafone software for it, and seeing if it accepts my 3 Sim, I very much doubt it will, worth a try though!
