Is this the right laptop for me ??

Hi all was thinking of buying this laptop from dell studio Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.1 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 Cache,) i basically need it for internet browsing and to play some games on it mainly strategy just wondered what everyone thought of this model ?

They're good laptops (I use a Dell XPS M1730 myself), so I'm sure you'll be perfectly happy with it

But the CPU - the only component you've mentioned, is not the most important component for gaming. It's the graphics card. And plenty of RAM can often make a difference too.
So make sure you get one with (4GB RAM, and) a decent graphics card in it... even if it means opting for a slightly slower CPU (which depends on your budget of course)

The studios HD3450 is nothing amazing but it will happily run most games at mudium settings
