    Will this fit?

Will this card, http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139026...roduct_reviews , fit in a HP S7750?
The Motherboard has (reading from some print out from PC World) a PCIEX1 slot, reading the reviews this card is a PCI card, will this fit?
Please respond as soon as possible.

    The manual:

    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00843633.pdf

Indicates it has a PCI slot and that's a PCI card. Why would you bother though?

    Re: Will this fit?

I presume your PC already has onboard graphics? The manual shows the PCI slot being populated by either a NIC or modem.

The ATI2400 isn't going to offer you earth shattering performance for games - or are you after dual displays?

    Re: Will this fit?

Oops just reading the card description again:

"The cooler heatsink is wide and covers the adjacent slot, the price to pay for quiet though."

Would seem to indicate you need 2 slots worth of space, so although it will fit in the PCI slot, it probably won't fit in the case.

    Re: Will this fit?

I'm using intergrated grapgics and atm there is nothing in the PCI slot, everyone else has said it would be a big improvement.

    1st customer review.

    Re: improvement

What are you actually trying to improve? Games? Which ones? It may be that others can suggest a better card.

    Re: Will this fit?

I've not seen an enthusiast PCI graphics card for ages. They were severely throttled, hence the move to AGP. AGP became obsoleted by PCIe.

    Re: Will this fit?

    Integrated Graphics suck imo.
    Any card would be better.

From what I recall from your other topic, you want to play WoW on a normal frame rate.
That card would do fine if you ask me, only problem remains would it fit? I don't know that.

Neither I know much of any other small cards, there are so many cheap cards to find nowadays, so much to choose from...

    Re: Will this fit?

I only play WoW and Dawn of war atm.
It's just kind of annoying getting like 5 fps in a raid.
Think I'll just get a whole new PC at christmas and try and sell this one or something.

Well it all depends on your budget, and howmuch of an improvement it would be comparing it to your current system.
