No power despite new PSU

Dangel, thanks, I'll give that a try. It hadn't occured to me to try that actually but still, I don't really hold a great deal of hope on this working.

Well you never know - something as simple as a broken switch would actually be rather nice! It's only a momentary switch btw - so the contact is broken once you release the button.

Ordered a new mobo (same one again) from flea-bay Hong Kong (only one I could find) - it has a warranty though this time at least.
