    Re: Old webcam with vista

i had an old cam i loved, a creative one
i just installed the xp driver
    made vista unstable though
in the end, i had to get a new cam

try the xp driver if you dont mind risking it

the new cam i got was even older, and thats windows 2000 driver works seamlessly with vista...oddly...

    Re: Old webcam with vista

Tried the xp driver, says not compatible with 64 bit.

Wow, I am one step away from going back to XP 32 bit. Nothing works on Vista! And for what advantage, a few new shinier menus and a funky "switch between windows" feature!
