Battery level indicator gone
Hey all.
Bought a new laptop a few weeks ago.
Obviously came with loads of crap i didnt need, so i uninstalled some stuff.
Now i dont have an indicator in my tool tray to let me know how much battery life i have left.
My laptop is an Asus F5SL with Windows Vista.
Any ideas? I dont really want to have to format to get it back. Iv googled stuff but had no luck.
Thanks
Ian

Re: Battery level indicator gone
There are any number of battery level indicators available for the Vista sidebar here ;)
Re: Battery level indicator gone
Check the 'Power Options' on the Windows Control Panel for the show on Taskbar checkbox - should be under one of the first two tabs ('Advanced' I think) ??!!
Re: Battery level indicator gone
I have one on my windows sidebar, but id much prefer one on my tool tray.
Its annoying because if i go into control panel, mobile pc, and then click windows mobility centre, a box pops up with different things such as: display brightness; volume; battery level; internet; display; sync partnerships; and presentations.
Under the battery bit it shows how much is left. So why isnt it showing in my tool tray.
And jw007, i cant find that.
Im running Vista btw.
Thanks.
