    Good cooling fan rec

Can anyone recommend a good cooling fan that will enable me to overclock my q6600 to 3.2 ghz while keeping temps nice and low. I dont want to spend too much on a fan either. Thanks in advance

If it's an aftermarket cooler you are after, then Scan have the xigmatek 1283 for just £14.09 (today only) http://www.scan.co.uk/TodayOnly/Index.aspx.

This a very good cooler, and also very quiet.

    Re: Good cooling fan rec

Gotta say that i have a Thermalright IFX-14 and cannot complain about it at all. The back plate also works but as i have a P182 i cannot utilize that feature. Its still awesome at doing its job, sure to the positioning of the board and the case fans I need not one fan on the heatsink to make this cool.

Its slightly more pricey than what has been suggested but as you dont need a fan on it if you have a good case, its silent. Even with a fan on it will not boost the ambient noise and you could even add 2 fans to this. HIGHLY reccomended

    QFT!

tis a very good cooler for the price, it is less than half the price of a TRUE and yet has brilliant performance that is close to the TRUE...

Seconded. And I stuck one of these (http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=787802) fans on it after reading this (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article63-page2.html). So quiet you can't even hear it
