you need to send it back to be repaired.
End of. its not something you can fix yourself without making worse. Surely its under warranty anyway.

How old? - Warranty claim first. The SoG states reasonable time but usually up to 6 yrs against shop but if bought from a non commercial outlet then your on your own. Have you had a repair estimate yet?
Was this bought on any type of finance, if yes then they can be held liable.
I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess that the bulb has gone, this is a rear projection TV right?
