Coprocessor shows yellow triangle in device manager

As the title says the coprocessor has a yellow triangle in my device manager.

There are a few threads on the net about it, none are any help though, so I thought I'd ask the experts.

    I've got XP SP3
    6000xp
Winfast motherboard (I forgot which model)
I've just installed 4GB of ram, I've only just found out it will only show up as 3.25GB , I'm not sure if this error was there before I upgraded the memory.

I'm not sure what it even means.........Coprocessor.

Re: Coprocessor shows yellow triangle in device manager

the memory issue is normal for a 32bit OS. XP can only access 4GB of memory, this includes your graphics card and other system allocations. The only way to see and use all your RAM is to go 64bit.

As for the Coprocessor, have you tried re-installing the latest drivers for your motherboard or chipset?

I just wish I'd have known about the memory think before upgrading, although memory is so cheap now, it's not such a problem.

I've re-installed the drivers for my motherboard and graphics card, I've haven't updated the bios though,it always makes me a bit nervous doing that.

I've just downloaded a program called 'Unknown devices' which says........ PCI standard ISA bridge is missing a driver.
