Asus Xonar D2X dodgy power connector & warranty

I bought the card off ebay a month or so back & had issues with the floppy power connector - kept getting the message that it wasn't connected when I booted into windows. My zalaman psu connectors weren't very tight so it had a tendency to slip off. So I bought a molex to floppy lead from maplin & it seemed OK..


Well yesterday I moved my system to a new case & am not getting the power cable not connected error with the new lead. There doesn't appear to be anything visually wrong with the card & have tried removing the power lead & resetting it a couple of times ( also tried different pici express slots). The card was advertised as new but had an asus rma sticker on the box. I attempted to register it with asus but was unable to.

Just wondering where to go from here?
