well both m8, i got logged out the main page and the forums at the same time.
as posted above it doesnt happen on the other 2 sites that i admin, one is 3.7.0 and others 3.7.3 same as here.
one of the 1st things i tried was deleting all cookies and temp internet files then making sure the folder was totally empty, within 5 mins i was logged out again.
running ccleaner at the mo and getting shut of index.dat on the off chance
Our forums and main site are completely different systems, so if you experienced the issue on both, I expect it some cookie related issue you had, rather than site coding.

still doing it after a full blast with crap cleaner m8
oh well i uninstalled ie8 and 7 then put 7 back on to try and get round the problem of pages locking up on hexus due to flash player
