    XP Standby Help

maybe i'm missing something here but basically i have a vbscript that runs programs on resume from standby which works perfectly as long as i manually resume the system... if the computer resumes by itself due to a scheduled recording (its a htpc) my vbscript wont run unless i give it some input by either moving the mouse or keyboard... i have also tried an app called hibstart which again works fine manually but doesn't run if the system resumes itself... I dont understand why this would happen but does anyone know a way to make these programs run on automatic resume, any means you could think of would be appreciated because after 2 days trying to fix this i'm out of ideas...

    Re: XP Standby Help

Do you normally know when you leave the PC whether its going to wake up automatically rather then you waking it?, I'm not sure whats causing it but there are programs that simulate mouse/key movements every x mins, I was using a freeware one a long while back.
