    Multiple ISOs on one DVD?

Hi is there a way to burn several runnable iso files on to a single dvd, or are there any other possible solutions?

    Thanks, Olie

There's nothing barring available space to stop you from burning multiple ISO files to a DVD, though what you mean by "runnable" is an entriely different matter. If you mean that you'd be able to mount them using a tool like Daemon Tools I see no reason why not, but if you mean something else... you need to be more clear.

welll, AFAIK you couldn't have multiple bootable ISO's on a disc.. but you could create one big ISO of the other ISOs constituent parts and create your own bootable image using burning software etc

but as splash says... what do you mean by 'runnable'?

if it is just for mounting in a virtual drive then yes you can have as many as you like on a disc.. but booting is a different matter

Re: Multiple ISOs on one DVD?

I'd take a guess that he wants to put a DVD in with mutliple ISOs on it and have a bootloader type menu pop up asking him which one he wants to boot.

I think it can be done, but can't remember the program that'll do it.

If it is indeed what you're suggesting I'd suggest googling "multiboot iso". http://flyakite.msfn.org/ is a good place to start.

Thanks, sorry I wasn't very clear, I'm downloading isos for Visual studio(legally ) which is several cds and was just wondering if I could save a couple of disks by running it all from one dvd.

I forgot about Daemon tools as my intention was to not keep the iso files on my hard drive, but I presumably could just burn the isos as files on to the disk and run daemon tools on them or even temporarily copy them back on to the hard drive if needs be.
