    hard drive problems(seagate & westerndigital)

i had 2 500gb harddrives in my machine one seagate baracuda bar and one western digital green power, both became faulty in less than few months, i rma'd both of them and both of the replacments seem to have faults !!
the seagate was faulty out of the box ie it comes an goes making not a nice noise spins stops spins stops
and the western digital blue comes up with some sort of faliure on seatools, also has very very slow transfer
i dont know if i am unlucky , but its getting beyond a joke, i will obviously have to rma again on tuesday , shall i phone them up have a rant !! as i dont want to be footing the postage on 2 drives that i have got back that are still faulty !!!
please tell me that im not the only one who is having this kinda luck with hardrives from seagate and western digital

I think your just very unlucky, i would defiantly phone them and say you don't want to pay to have to returned, it could be the stat controler on your mobo have you got a working drive you can test run a HD Tach or something?

have you run HD Tach or anything to see if it could be a fault with your motherboard? It does sound liek your just unlucky with the drives tho tbh.
