Bit of a bump here - I was checking on mine today and my WDAAKS runs at 42c whilst my Sammy 750 F1 runs at 34c.
May have to buy another F1 and get right of my AAKS

seconded.
And thirded by my own experience whereby I've never had a hard drive fubar when they've had proper cooling.
If yuo can't get a proper case fan to blow over them, then YES, get a hard drive cooler ASAP.
In technology, almost everything is killed by heat, eventually, whether it's long term heat soak, or short term massive overheating.

The Google paper is the one I trust, shows that variation is the problem not extremes. Still, I keep mine below 50C. If they're over that your whole system is probably rather too warm.
