    CPU Problems

    I recently installed a new CPU, but now that I have when I try to boot everything powers on but theres no machine and the machine wont POST, I put the old CPU back in and it works perfectly first time. Is there something I'm missing?

    You might have to upgrade the bios to put in a new cpu.

    BTW, what motherboard do you have, and what cpu are you trying to install?

    If its not the above then I can imagine its probably a faulty cpu.

    Your first suggestion was the right one, after thinking about it (kinda posted here in blind panic lol), I found out there was a new bios update for my mobo, flashed it and now its working perfectly, with some AMD X2 7750 BE goodness
