Abit IP35 and Pentium 805D

Decided to swap a few components round yesterday which ended up with me putting an old 805d into my ip35.
Nightmare.
At first it tries to run it at about 5332mhz, then when in bios I can drop the fsb to 200 giving it a running speed of 4ghz, but after quiting bios it either doesn't come back on again or says cmos checksum error and I have to clear cmos and start again.
Basically, can't find a way to drop the multiplier and can't set fsb to lower than 200.
Any ideas?
It's being cooled by an akasa evo 120 with fan and it's in the cosmos with all case fans on.
Can't afford to buy anything new, so if this isn't workroundable I guess I'll have to swap cpus back.

don't think that CPU (or any 533 cpu) is supported by the P35 chipset.
certainly not on the supported list for the IP35 series.

Really hate flashing bios. Don't trust windows utils and can never find my floppy drive and/or disks.
Still, might try that but if it don't work I'll just stick to the e2160.
