    Question Sound

Hi. I'm happy to be a member though I need help with my computer.
My computer has absolutely no sound whatsoever. not internally or through the speakers. It's new and ought to be faultless. I've tried everything I can think of to restore the sound but to no avail.
I'd be grateful therefore if others could help me. Pehaps someone has had the same problem and knows the solution. I hope so.

    Re: Sound

What are the specs of your PC alunr?
Is the sound on the motherboard or on a seperate soundcard?
Have you tried downloading & installing the latest drivers?

Plus if it's new, get the manufacturer/supplier to rectify it.

    Welcome to Hexus!

Check the control panel to make sure that sound isn't muted (obvious, but easy to overlook) and check that the volume is turned up.

    Re: Sound

Is it onboard sound or is it a sound card?

Have u got the speakers plugged in the right jack?

Have u got the sound muted?

Try the physical "easy overlooked" stuff first
