    Nvidia 260 GTX SCC - BSOD

    Have just recieved my new card, my first card had artrifacts and since this was a new build i got an RMA replacement now I have another error when playing games I get crashes sometimes bluescrees with error nvlddmkm.sys and sometimes it just quits the game and says the nvlddmkm driver has been recovered. I have the latest driver and have tried removing cleaning and reinstalling them.
    I have a Corsair 650W PSU and an Asus P5QL-E Motherboard.

    there have been a few buggy driver releases, you cleaned them when changing so that good, did you get the latest nvidia ones released yesterday ?

    Ive tried the latest that came out yesterday as only got my replacement yesterday, also I have just tried an old "stable" 178.24 but still same crash.

    Um im not sure I got the display drivers? From the Nvidea website?

    Thanks I will try this just been googling and loads of people with same issues.... found a website with a few fixes that i will also try: nvlddmkm.com

    Believe have fixed the problem:

    UPDATE2: Try turning off the timeout detection:

    1. Regedit.
    2. Navigate to: HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetControlGraphicsDrivers
    3. Add the following DWORD: TdrLevel and set the value to 0.
    4. Reboot.
