I have 3 audio outputs on my pc in use. standard 5.1 analogue surround, digital coax and my headphones. Only the analogue option playbacks anything from line in.

I have plugged my xbox 360 into the line in socket on my motherboard in hopes of being able to playback the sound in real time through my headphones which are USB only (creative hs-1200). But this doesn't seem to work.

I did manage to get the digital coax to work using audacity and vlc but there is sound lag which isn't ideal. Anybody got a solution?
