    Post Award WorkstationBios v6.00PG Issues

    Hi Guys,

Just need your help, I'm trying to overclock my CPU (as shown on my specs), at least up to 3GHz w/o altering the CPU voltage, but the BIOS can't save my changes, the settings below are the one that can't be saved, all other else can be saved.

    - CPU Multiplier (resets to x13 or Auto)
    - K8 to NB Speed (shows at x5 or Auto)

The CPU Speed can be saved and I've tried it up to 230MHz, but it produces an error in ORTHOS maybe because the HT Speed is at 1150MHz bacause it is always resets to x5. Need Help on this one guys.

Also when I go back to the BIOS Settings after changing them, the CPU Multiplier is reset to Auto, the CPU Speed stays and also the HT Link Speed but in CPU-Z it only reflects that my CPU Speed is the only one has been changed (The CPU Multi and the HT Link is reset to default x13 and x5, respectively). My CMOS battery is in good condition at 3.03V as shown by SpeedFan.

    Additional Info:
    - I've already updated my BIOS to version 02/02/09 as found on the ECS website.
    - Updated also the nForce 430 drivers to the latest (but I forgot the version).
    - Already tried clearing the CMOS before and after updating my BIOS.

    Here's my rig again:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane (not Black Edition)
    ECS 6100PM-M2/nForce 430 MOBO
    2x 1GB Kingston DDR2-800
    HEC Raptor 500W (R500)
    Palit 9500GT 512MB DDR2
Phoenix Award WorkstationBIOS v6.00PG (02/02/09 version)

    CPU Voltage on Auto (1.29V)
    DIMM Voltage on Auto (1.8V)

Have you disabled Cool'n'Quiet in the BIOS?
