Is there an option to clean the print heads in the options anywhere? Tried different carts?

Also make sure you have the latest drivers.

thank you White Giant for your reply
I Have downloaded latest driver and cleaned print head and when I ptint from my scanner it is ok it is just direct from computer the problem that arises

I have XP service pack 3 installed could there be a problem there?

I don't see how, assuming it is XP compatable.

Having a quick Google suggests you may need to replace the print head, part number 'BC-21'.

Unlikely to be the print head if it is printing from other sources OK. Are you printing text or pictures from the computer?
