Connecting headphones to S/PDIF-Out
Hello,
recently I've purchased a PC with a Gigabyte MA790X-UD4 motherboard, and there is constant noise responding to mouse gestures or even video playback. At the moment the headphones are plugged into the front panel slot.
I was wondering whether there are some connector converters to plug headphones (3.5mm or 6.25 (or is it some other number?)) into S/PDIF-Out - maybe the noise would cease.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks for replies :help:
Re: Connecting headphones to S/PDIF-Out
Well spdif is digital, so you would need a DAC and amp between the motherboard and the headphones.
(And yes, it is 3.5mm)

Ok, thanks for the info.
I've solved the problem, though, by simply plugging the 'phones into the back line-out slot :)
