    Where to buy electronic components?

    Hello,

I'm having a problem with my Dell E153FPb monitor. I've discovered that my problem is exactly the same as the one described in this thread on another site (Read posts #6 & 9) --> badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3360

I've discovered that the little black fuse on my inverter board has also blown & needs replacing. However, I can't find anywhere that sells them. With my limited knowledge on computer repair shops in Newcastle Upon Tyne, I've only tried Maplins, PC World, & a local PC repair shops. All of whom didn't have the part or couldn't point me in the right direction.

So does anyone here know where I can get a 3 Amp Pico (or Bell?) fuse, either in Newcastle or on the internet?

I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new monitor when all I need is a part the costs a few pence, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks.
    Matt.

Basic stuff www.maplin.co.uk - cheaper than RS or Farnell, although quality may be lower. Maplin are retailers, RS/Farnell mainly trade/professional. For specialised stuff, use Google, but again many sites you will find will be trade/wholesale.
