    ram problem ?

    i just got my self some more ram for my pc bring me up to a nice 4 gig but now i'm notceing a preformance hit with windows and gaming, is this becaues i'v not got a new 2 gig stick and 2x1 gig sticks ? should iv got 2x1gig stick ?
    btw all my ram is 667 and from cruciall and the mainbord is an abit ib9 runing an intell c2d 2ghz e4400 cpu.

    I've noticed you now have 3 sticks of RAM. When you put in more sticks of ram than there are channels they will run in single channel mode and there will be a performance hit. You mobo will also throttle your ram to run as fast as the slowest stick.
