Exclamation Word 2003 Issue: Unable to print past a certain Page

    Hello,

One of the users as the company I work for is having issues with 2 word documents...

They are long documents, roughly 175 pages long each and I believe they are different version of each other. When they reach page 43 they do not print any further, and no errors show.

Things I have tried soo far:
    • Document was from Word 2000, so converted to our version of 2003.
    • Copied a pasted into a new document
    • Remove all unused styles
    • Tried printing from another computer, and a different printer.
    • Used Word Open and repair, which found errors and fixed them.
    • Checked for field codes, and there were none.
    • Checked for strange formatting marks, and there is nothing around page 44.
    • Opened in Word 2007, and saved back as Word 2003.
    • Saved as html, and saved back as Word 2003.
    • Accepted any track changes in the document.

During testing I tried just printing page 44, and it does not print but a different issue occurs. No actually error comes but it says "awaiting tracking data".

Sadly I cannot post the document because it is sensitive, and I cannot just paste special without formatting due to the size of the document and the amount of time it would take to reformat it. Of court as a last resort I can do this thogh .

I am now finally out of ideas!!!! Anyone else got an idea to try?
    Terry

First thought would be a section break - obvious (but often overlooked)

Just doubled checked and there is a section break on the 48th page, but that is after the point of where it stops printing.

    Sadly no track changes...
I gotten to a point now where I am spending way too much time trying to fix this document, so will have to copy the text unformatted into a new document and advise the user that they will need to reformat it. I hate "fixing" things this way, but it appears nothing else will do the trick! Thanks for you attempts though.

    I would clear all the formatting. Then Ctrl + A --> Ctrl + C.

Then copy everything into notepad. Have a quick look at it, and see if you can spot anything 'strange'.

Open a new Word document, and copy from notepad to the new Word document.
