Navman Sat Nav issue

Hi folks...newbie here and probably posting in completely the wrong forum. I appologise if thats the case.
Anyhoo.....I have a Navman PiN 570 sat nav. I want to update the maps, problem is...i dont have the discs, as i inherited the item,but never got the discs.
I know for software updates I need the discs. Is it the same for updating maps?

Will allow you to download software (system) updates and a user manual (if you don't have one.

I'm not sure how the map updates work on the Navman, although it looks like a subscription system (most are) so there may be more information if you follow the links from the site.

Hi Peter. Thanks for your reply. But......i have been to the site which you provided the link to. Problem is...once i dL it and try to install....it asks me to insert my software disc. I dont have one. Just wondering if there was a way round it....or maybe an alternative out there? Im sure i was reading somewhere that ppl were downloading and using tomtom software on the Navman pin 570?

Em...foiled again Peter...already tried that at least 3 times! Worse than useless they are!
