acer aspire 5520 windows xp wifi

basically put xp on instead of vista (don't want to explain why etc etc) found some drivers off the net as acer naughtily removed the xp driver support section and can't get wifi to work.
have a broadcom driver and a atheros one (which apparently is the one in it) and installs etc blah blah and as its installing it says wireless networks detected (great) and then click refresh etc and none found...

so please can someone find me multiple sources of the working driver for xp sp2 pro... don't wan't to use sp3... and shouldn't need to.
PLEASE help this is my friends...

Good riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.
