The missus has a Compaq Presario CQ50 that she bought on an impulse without consulting me, paying way over the odds in Currys.
Anyways, it stopped 'working' a couple of weeks ago. I had a look, and it seems to power on just fine, but there is no display, and no HDD activity. Its within warrenty, but she doesn't look after her stuff and its all scratched and knocked around.
I've suggested taking it back to Currys but I'm worried they will take one look at it and say its her fault.
There is a slight possibility that some lemonade (!) was spilt on it.
Any suggestions for a fix, or is it worth trying to return it? Got a couple of months left on the 12 month warrenty.
