Not Getting Video
I recently finished building my computer, and I connected it using a power cable to the power. The fans went on and the DVD drive is working fine. but for some reason when I attach my VGA monitor to the computer's DVI connection using a converter that came with the graphics card, the monitor flickers, I'm quite sure it is well connected because when I disconnect the VGA cable, a message comes up on the monitor, saying something's been disconnected.
But still for seem reason it doesn't boot up and I cannot access the BIOS. Does anyone know what problems the computer might have?

Re: Not Getting Video
Is it a card that requires additional power via a 6 or 8 pin plug.
Also do you get any post beeps. You will need to have an onboard speaker plugged in for this.
