WoW patch corrupt

Hi im trying to install the 1.6gb WOW patch (3.x.x - 3.0.2) however when I try to run the update patch I get an error saying that its corrupt. I have installed the game numerous of times and downloaded the patch from various sources. I have also ran the repair tool loads of times I just dont know why this is happening everytime. Im stuck any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it

I have the same experience, you just have to keep download it until it works or just use the official download manager thing.

They seem extremely fragile, I remember one patch working on one computer, then when I transfer it to another via external hard drive it said it was corrupt. lol

I would use one of the download links provided by Wowwiki they have worked everytime for me.

Failing that, you could ask a mate to download the patch for you and burn it to disc / load it on a flash drive.

Have you tried using the torrent in a proper torrent client? that way you should get some kind of inbuilt integrity check. Also probably worth checking your RAM and hard disk for problems.

Presuming it is actually a problem with downloading the entire file correctly:

Echoing what was said above, use:

with uTorrent. That way you're guaranteed to get the proper file, as uTorrent will re-download any pieces whose checksum is incorrect. You can look under the Log tab and it will tell you every time you get an incorrect piece.
