    P5K Audio problem

    i just got myself a second hand p5k however the audio doesnt work properly i downloaded and instaled the latest realtek driver for it but it still doesnt output the sound properly and the sound only works in one ear piece wen headphones are connected and the sound is either very quite or very fuzzy wen u the sound is fully turned up.

    i supect its hardware failur but could anyone help out since i cant excatly RMA it.

    I had similar problems when i was using this board. I would recommend that you remove realtek software + drivers and install only the drivers by using new hardware wizard in xp/vista(browse to the driver files on the driver CD).
    Realtek software setup is so messy.Hate it.

    i think your best bet would be to get a cheap sound card
