    AVI Video, corrupt sound?

I have an AVI file I captured from Mini DV. When I add it to my timeline in Vegas or try to covert it with Nero Vision or CuCu Soft the sound corrupts. The file seems fine and plays fine.

Any ideas how to sort it?

Try opening it through Avisynth? Syntax is quite simple, just AVISource("Filepath")

Could probably even trim it in Avisynth and feed it directly to the encoder.
