    HDMI Switch + Booster?

Just bought a PS3, using a cheap 5m HDMI cable from SCAN and I can't go 1080p on my projector It will only go up to 1080i, and testing 1080p give me white noise. Plugged my 3m HDMI-DVI cable to my HTPC which now gives purple lines all over the place.

Thinking of getting one of these:

Does it help with improving signal? Don't want to buy it only to find that the signal is still bad.

    Cheers
    Arthur

    Re: HDMI Switch + Booster?

Sadly not all HDMI cables are made equal, make sure its 1.3b and of at least a decent quality.

Also wondering that with it being a projector will the cable have to be HDCP capable as well?

    Have used :

    In the past without issue...

I am contemplating getting an HDMI switch too. Did you get the one you mentioned, and if so, what do you think of it?

    Cheers
