I have the first version, the AC Freezer 64 Pro for AMD cpus, and I can confirm that the heatsink base does not cover the whole of the cpu, but it still works fine.

Re: artic cooling freazer 7 pro rev 2

Its not an uncommon thing. Intel shipped the P4 Prescotts with a stock heatsink that had a copper column in the middle that left corners and a cap at each edge of the CPU uncovered.

The majority of the heat spreaders are far bigger than the core itself anyway, solong as the heatsink makes good contact where it does touch it should be fine.

    I'm not to sure TBH, Phenom 2 965 is a 125/140W CPU isn't it?

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I tried running my Q6600 (95W) under a F7 Pro without the fan and it idled at around 40c so it won't be too rosey under full load at 140W for you :\
