Hey

When running my monitor (22" AG Neovo) via a DVI connection the screen is fuzzy (like ghosted) when the computer gets to the desktop (in both Win 7 and Ubuntu 9.10). The BIOS is fine and the boot screens are fine.

The way to fix this (until the next reboot at least) is to go into the settings on the monitor and "recall" them. Then it's fine. That involves 7 presses of the monitor buttons and is a bit annoying.

Is there a setting on the monitor or in the OS that will rectify this? If I run it over a VGA connection it doesn't have the problem.

It happened with my old Nvidia GTS8800 and with my new ATI 4890.
