I've been getting a bit of spam from some 'online pharmaceutical company' lately on a gmail account so, with NoScript enabled, I opened one to see who it was supposedly from/what was in it etc but all it was was a few large words with yellow highlighting. I checked the message source and I couldn't find any links/web bugs or anything at all apart from a few hundred byte's worth of random letters at the bottom of the page but not followed by anything which could have suggested an attachment. What was the point of this email - there was no read receipt, no malware, no web bug (1x1 GIF), no links??? I mean I know spam is, well, spam but it normally has a purpose i.e. to make money or something...
