PC Won't Wake Up

I moved the internals from an Aerocool M40 case in to a Antec P150 case. Only thing changed apart from the case was the PSU (was a Seasonic but now swapped for a Antec NeoHE).

OS by the way is Win 7 Home Premium.

When the computer goes to sleep I can't get it to wake up. No matter how many times I press the on off button, the reset button, press keyboard keys, mouse buttons etc. I end up taking the side off, remove power cable to HD, then switching off the PSU.

Could it be the Antec PSU has a blip?

Had no issues in the Aerocool M40.

Didn't have this problem before ?
My installation of W7 never wakes up from sleep or hibernation. Had to turnm it off in the Power Management. Googling, it seems to be a bit of an issue.

No issues in the M40 case, which I've now promised to my nephew as he needs small form factor

Can't see it being the case as all on/off switches are standard?

May try to swap the PSU and see if it's any better, but the Antec is modular whereas the Seasonic isn't

Mine is a Seasonic-built Antec SFF PSU. Maybe it's something to do with the +5vsb rail of Seasonic PSUs? Let me know how you get on if you try swapping yours, not that I have much choice since mine is SFF...

Sounds like a PSU issue. Mine is an Antec 750w as well.

i've got a hx520w and a seasonic 700w PSUs on two systems running W7 and wakes up every time

maybe a software issue? did you run win update? or maybe a bios issue?

All our PSUs are Antec. My BIOS is at the latest stable version and I always make sure software is up-to-date.
