    Is my HDD knackered ?

    also its outta warranty period

    If HD Tune is accurate, that's one of the most comprehensively knackered hard drives I've ever seen.

    It does look a bit suspect though, so you might want to give the manufacturer's utility ES-Tool a go before writing it off. If you have trouble running it from the CD-ROM (a not uncommon occurrence), create a bootable USB flash drive, copy the estool.exe program onto it and run it from there.
