Installed Windows 7 32bit and no sound is coming through the speakers. I've tried all Realtek's drivers for the IP35-e designed for Vista/Windows 7 but still nothing. Has anyone had the same problem or can anybody please help?
Thanks

Does the speaker icon at the bottom right hand corner say no audio output device installed? If its an integrated card make sure its enabled in the bios. If its a dedicated sound card try refitting it.
Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I'm having the same problem.
ABIT IP35-E LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard. Tried multiple Realtek drivers and nothing works. Boot up XP, and everything works fine.
I used this board for quite long time on Win7 x64. Had zero problems.
Guys check the default audio device in control panel. Also if you have ATI HD3k or newer Windows may set the HDMI output as default audio device.
It's an integrated sound card. Updated all drivers, bios is correct, realtek 2.49, no HDMI, standard RCA Audio. Win 7 x32. Maybe it's a 32/64 bit thing. Again...when I boot machine with alternate HD with Win XP, audio is perfect. Any other suggestions?
I can't seem to paste the image, but it has the 2nd and 4th items from your screen with second (Speakers) as the default. I tried Realtek Digital Output as default, but that doesn't work either.
I really appreciate the help.
It also might help to know that when I boot under Win 7, I don't get a MoBo beep. I do get it with XP. I updated all chipset drivers, and scanned with Driver Detective. Everything up to date. Does that help troubleshoot? Again...THANKS!!
Ignore this reply. Beep was present with Hard Boot. Back to square 1.
just figured it out. i have multiple outputs but they're classified as Center, Side, Rear, etc. i only had Stereo as opposed to 5.1 speaker system selected without the Front speaker plugged in. thanks.

Hey guys, I did find a solution to the problem after downloading and installing so many drivers that clearly weren't working. I just bit the bullet and bought a SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme sound card. For the sake of 30 quid and you know it's going to work and give you miles better sound than on-board audio I didn't see it as too big a deal. But also, I've downgraded to Windows XP now becaus with Windows 7, I couldn't record internal audio from the soundcard, but I can on WinXP. So, in the end if you're desperate, shoot over to Overclockers and get a soundcard because it's not worth going through the hassle. If you wanna try one more thing, RealTek have released one more Windows 7 driver just recently, so try that aswell. Hope this helps.
