    Hiss from speakers

I have a Auzentech X - Plosion soundcard running in a GIGABYTE- GA-P35-DS3R (rev. 2.0) motherboard. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I am using a logictech 2:1 speaker system. There is a audible hiss coming from the speakers even on relatively low volume. I have the latest drivers installed

Any ideas on how to get rid of this annoying noise?

    Thanks

    Re: Hiss from speakers

Is the hiss only happening when the input to the speakers is connected, or does it happen regardless (just when they're powered)? If the latter then there's nothing you can do about it - it's just poor quality/isolation on the speaker part.

    Re: Hiss from speakers

Mute your Mic, Mute your other input and see if that stops the hissing.

Works for me on my X-Fi with 5.1 speakers
