Scaleo T BSOD
A friend has a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo T, Win XP Home, SP3, that has suddenly developed a problem. It keeps BSOD'ing with a variety of reasons after a few minutes of operation 0x0000008e, 0x00000050, 0x00007e, 0x000000d1.
Loads of space on the two installed HD's and 1Gb RAM
He has asked for advice - any welcome, :help:
Thanks

Re: Scaleo T BSOD
Checking drivers and uninstalling recent updates and changes/doing a system restore goes without saying - But for randomised BSODs with no real pattern like you describe I would start at the memory. Swapping out sticks or doing memtest if that's not possible would be a good first troubleshooting step.

Thanks Mannix, it turned out to be a faulty RAM stick.:)

Re: Scaleo T BSOD
You're welcome :)
Glad to see you isolated the problem, it did sound like bad RAM but you can never be sure!
