    Swiftech MCR220 replacement fill-port

    Help!!!!

The radiator that comes in the Swiftech H20-220 Compact CPU Liquid Cooling Kit is made of plastic, and to put it bluntly, can be a little bugger to extract. I've managed to completely detroy the flat head design, and in trying to re-cut a groove for my coin to slot into, I've now cut too deep, and it doesn't seal properly.

Now I know that we're not talking a pressurised loop here, but I'm not putting that leaky little begger inside my new obsidian 700d, no matter what coolant I use.

Anyone gto any ideas what size the thread is? I ask because the only thread that I've found thread looks like they found the answer, but I'm not so sure as I've got some XSPC reservoirs and the cap they use is too small!

The only mention I've found with any sort of relevance is http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...port-size.html but I don't think this is my radiator - I'm sure I've got the MCR220 which is shown here and

Any ideas folks? I've emailed swiftech, but no joy....

    Re: Swiftech MCR220 replacement fill-port

In case anyone is interested, I got a poke over on the Bit-tech forums pointing me over to Xtremesystems where a very helpful fella by the name of Gabe is know to frequent. I signed up, waited for my accoutn to be activated, and then posted the same post, and Gabe came on a couple of days later and pointed me in the direction of Michelle@swiftech.com who has since confirmed the part with me, and is now sending replacements gratis.

I'm absolutely bowled over at that for customer service, especially when the parts are coming from California! God bless you Swiftech!

    Re: Swiftech MCR220 replacement fill-port

To be honest I just asked them where I could get the replacement part, so I never did learn the thread details. I might email Michelle and ask her so that it's recorded out here on the interweb for all to see...
