Internet explorer 8 keeps 'fogetting me'!!!

Evening all,

IE 8 has just started to doing a very annoying fault! I log into a site, e.g. this forum, and click on 'remember me' when i log in. i do not log out, but when i restart IE, it has forgotten my log in details!!!

It never used to do this and was working fine, and all of a sudden it has started doind it - a quick google scan hasn't bough up anything obvious - the box to clear all cookies on exit is not ticked.

The only thing that i can think of was that I think it started when i cleared the cahe as the icons on the tabs were getting all screwed up. I just cleared the cahce through the 'safety' and 'delete browsing history' option. I did not clear the cookies and, i haven't done the clear since but the fault is there every time i restart IE!!

I'm running Win 7 64 bit with IE 8 and KIS2011 is my AV - all are up to date.

Any ideas?!!!

OK, it appears to be something to do with KIS. if i turn it off, and open IE and log in to this forum, close IE and open it up again, I remain logged in.

As soon as i fire up KIS again, it stops 'remembering me'. The weired thing is that it remembers to keep me logged in on ebay, but not on the forums i visit. Any thoughts?!!

Just a guess, but eBay logs you in via a HTTPS connection, the forums do not.

KIS could be clearing non secure cookies when you close IE.

Random, but now all of a sudden it has remembered to remember me!!!

and now its started forgetting again - I cant see any pattern as to whether or not it forget or remembers me!!

Any ideas?

You don't have "delete browsing history on exit" checked in IE do you? Or maybe using Porn Mode?

Nah - neither! its weired cos sometimes it logs me out and other times it works fine!
