Custom Built Audio PC

Im pretty stuck on what components to get to make a studio PC.

I already have the right HDD and case I need. But my budget is £180, Could anyone help me out finding a CPU, Ram and a MoBo?

By studio PC are we talking a machine to be used as a DAW?

If so, your budget may be a little lacking. You need some real horsepower to run multiple instances of plugins etc. I'm not too sure but you might be able to pick up some second hand Core2Duo based CPU/Mobo/Ram for that kind of figure?

Yes, I will be running Ableton Live 8 on it, and maybe Cubase.

My budget is only low because it is a temporary system I will be using

Ive just come accross a older Mobo, and 2gb of ram in my house. So all I need now is a CPU isnt it?

Do you know anyone who is wanted to get rid of a old Core2Duo/Quad? (The mobo supports 1333/1066/800/533 LGA 775)
