    Lexmark s300 wifi printer

Just bought a Lexmark s300 wifi printer, and wanted to know if I can turn its wifi off. Is this possible?

Also speakers went mad when I turned it on, could the printer wifi have stuffed them?

    Your manual says:

    Changing wireless settings after installation
To change wireless settings on the printer, such as the configured network, the security key, or other settings, do the
    following:
    For Windows users
    1 Click or Start.
2 Click All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list.
    3 Select Printer Home.
    4 Click the Settings tab.
5 Click the Wireless setup utility link.
6 Follow the instructions on the computer screen to configure the printer for wireless access with the new settings.

    Any help?

Oh and about the Speakers thing, check out Wiki for insightful info: Electromagnetic interference

Thanks but I have no use for the wifi function so wanted to disable it. As for the speakers this is the second pair that have gone, guess it was just chance that it was the day I had this new printer.

Oh and I remember with my old lexmark x1270 it had a small icon near the clock (bottom right hand corner), but with this new s300 nothing just the shortcut to settings etc on the desktop.

If anyone else has a lexmark s300 (think mine is the 305) then could you tell me, does only have the desktop shortcut or should there be a taskbar icon?
